The University of Toronto has announced that Dr. Anil Kishen is stepping down as the dean of the institution’s faculty of dentistry, effective immediately. In a letter released by the office of the vice-president and provost and shared on social media, Provost Trevor Young wrote that an external investigator found that Kishen used two antisemitic images in his lecture material earlier this year. One of the images showed a figure with its face painted in the colours of the Palestinian flag, bound by ropes and an Israeli flag, although the Star of David has been removed from the flag.
