Macquarie's chairman said climate change was a "wicked problem", but the bank's actions were "in the interests of shareholders", vicariously sidestepping Ian Dunlop's assertions its actions "will be catastrophic", leading to "widespread mortality food and water shortages, conflict and economic devastation (Letters, July 24).
