In the last few weeks, we have read many anti-Graham Platner letters to the editor from readers around the country. The two that stand out the most were from the Hoosier who called him a “Nazi-styled communist” and the writer from South Dakota who believed anti-ICE demonstrators were paid protesters. While it may be exciting that the nation’s eyes are on Maine, out-of-state readers should take their wild accusations and baseless lies to their local papers, and let Mainers use their own eyes and brains to make their decisions.
