As a veteran, please do not treat Confederate dead just like veterans. They fought for a different country and for very different values.You might as well say that Nazi dead should be treated as veterans. They too fought regardless of how they "felt" about their war. Over 5,000 young Jehovah’s Witness men died in the concentration camps of Germany because they acted on how they "felt." In modern liberal times, everybody cares about how people feel.
