London police arrested 92 people on Saturday, during a demonstration in Trafalgar Square supporting ‘Palestine Action,’ a group previously designated as a proscribed organization in the UK, Anadolu reports. Approximately 500 protesters staged a sit-in to challenge the ban on the group, which is known for targeting companies doing business with Israel. Nearly two hours into the rally, the London Metropolitan Police intervened, physically removing protesters from the square and conducting searches. The crowd included diverse groups, such as anti-Zionist Jewish organizations, Holocaust survivors’ families, and activists dressed in historical Suffragette attire.
