As a Democratic voter (leftist, lib or whatever you want to term me), I find “No Kings Day” to be a bit embarrassing and counterproductive. I drove by one of the events and saw hundreds of people protesting, but not for any particular thing. I saw signs that made vague demands for “science” or “justice” and people dancing in costumes, like dinosaurs and toads, that seem to make light of what we are being told is a very serious situation in our country.
