With less than three months until arguably the nation’s most closely watched Democratic primary for the US Senate, Governor Janet Mills has launched her first attack at against her opponent, progressive upstart Graham Platner, who is leading her in most polls. The 30-second ad focuses on old social media posts that Platner, a first time candidate, admits he made which suggested that victims of sexual assault were largely to blame. Platner has apologized saying he wrote at a darker period in his life coming back from war in the Middle East and that he doesn’t stand by the comments today....
