The directors of the world’s five Anne Frank Centers convened in Columbia for the second biennial Anne Frank Awards on Feb. 9. USC’s Columbia campus is home to the only Anne Frank Center in North America. Three other centers exist in Buenos Aires, Argentina, London, United Kingdom, and Berlin, Germany, in addition to the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazi regime for over two years during World War II.
