Welsh teenagers are being taught about “white privilege” in an interactive, virtual reality world. The so-called “anti-racist metaverse” cost taxpayers more than £1.2m and was rolled out by the Welsh Government for pupils aged 16 or older. Pupils are invited to explore a “vast, accessible and immersive 3D metaverse environment” centred on a “grand atrium” adorned with portraits of civil rights campaigners such as Malcolm X, Betty Campbell and Nelson Mandela.
