Dozens of army veterans and mourners answered calls to give a D-Day hero a proper final goodbye this week after his death aged 99. Rifleman Jim Justice passed away last month just weeks before his 100th birthday. Jim was enlisted to fight for his country aged 17 in 1943 despite attempts from his mother to stop him, and crossed the English Channel as part of Operation Overlord a year later.
