Private landlord accountability still matters Manhattan: It’s not often I see someone defending the worst landlords, so Howard Husock’s recent op-ed caught my eye (“New York City is its own worst landlord: NYCHA,” Jan. 28). If he had visited a building or spoken to any of their tenants, I don’t think he’d be quite so eager to stand by them — or by the mold, rodents and roaches infesting their spaces.
