A CLASSIC war comedy starring Sir Norman Wisdom has been given a trigger warning — because it mocks Germans. ITVX has applied a content advisory to the slapstick great’s 1958 farce The Square Peg. He plays Norman Pitkin, a road repairer drafted into the Army who discovers he is the double of Nazi commander General Otto Schreiber — also played by Sir Norman — while in occupied France.
