Northwestern University in Illinois will pay the US federal government $75 million to settle complaints about antisemitism on the campus, the university and the Justice Department announced on Friday. The agreement will restore $790 million in federal funding to the university that the Trump administration had frozen in April, and close federal investigations into the university.
