The Issue: The United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Portugal’s recognition of a Palestinian statehood. Who gave the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and France the right to establish a Palestinian state within the boundaries of Israel (“Palestine mandate,” Sept. 22)? Are they pandering to their own growing Muslim populations, or is this just plain antisemitism? Probably both. These countries have many Jewish residents. I pray for their safety.
