Vancouver Island’s 19 Wing Comox Canadian Forces Base honoured the Canadians who fought in the Battle of Britain, defending its allies from Nazi invasion 85 years ago. From July to October 1940, more than 100 Canadian pilots and roughly 300 Canadian ground crew fought with their allies to protect Great Britain.
