An Israeli flag outside Temple Sinai of Bergen County was vandalized in the early hours of Tuesday, Sept. 16, according to officials at the Tenafly synagogue. The flag had been flying for about two years at the corner of the temple's campus on Engle Street next to an American flag and Jewish Gay pride flag. But it was found severely damaged on Tuesday morning, officials said in an email to the synagogue community. The other two flags and the rest of the property were left untouched.
