A total of 890 people have been arrested this weekend while protesting against the proscription of the direct action group Palestine Action, police said on Sunday. The Metropolitan Police (Met) said that 857 people had been arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000 for supporting a proscribed group during Saturday's demonstration.
