Columbia University has reached a deal with the Trump administration, and will pay $221 million to the federal government in exchange for reinstatement of federal research money that was cancelled over allegations of anti-semitism on campus. The University has also agreed to a bunch of demands of the administration. For instance, Columbia agreed to suspend, expel, or revoke degrees of some 70 students who participated in pro-Palestinian demonstrations.
