EXCLUSIVE: In a six-against seven figure deal, Miramax won an auction for Supermax, a high-concept spec script written by David Weil & David J. Rosen, best known for their work on the TV series Hunters and Invasion. The Picture Company partners Alex Heineman & Andrew Rona will produce the film. Supermax is a propulsive and twist-laden action thriller that follows two FBI agents investigating a murder that’s taken place in the world’s most secure prison.
