Sir, –In Carl O’Brien’s article in Monday’s edition (Leaving Cert reforms to be delayed in two key subjects), he reports on the decision to delay the introduction of new subject specifications for Senior Cycle English and Accounting, after “education authorities acknowledged that more time is needed to prepare for the changes”, specifically in the planning for the Additional Assessment Components (AACs) in those subjects.
