COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCSC) - The Associated Press named President Joe Biden as the winner of South Carolina’s First-in-the-Nation Democratic Presidential Primary about a half-hour after polls closed. The AP later explained that it made its call for Biden at 7:23 p.m. after an analysis of the initial vote results showing him with a “decisive lead” in key locations throughout the state.
