Campus demonstrations in the wake of the Hamas terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens have demonstrated a lack of plain common decency. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states that “Congress shall make no law…abridging…the right of the people peaceably to assemble.” There is a long tradition of campus gatherings to support and oppose innumerable events and issues.
