It took six years to put a man on the moon. The first portion of the London underground took three years to build. The Eglinton LRT however — well, we’re still unsure when that will be finished, 12 years and counting. Construction started in the summer of 2011 with an initial completion date of 2020 for the light-rail system that stretches 19 kms along Eglinton Avenue, with 25 stations along the way.
