Cannes Film Festival has announced its 2023 slate, with Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City and the Weeknd’s HBO show The Idol among the selections. The latter, helmed by Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and starring Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye alongside Lily-Rose Depp, was beset by delays and rumored fallout behind the scenes.
