Sky News presenter Chris Kenny says there is an “emerging wave of anti-Semitism” both globally and in Australia. “A few months ago, a study by a Jewish group said the number of anti-Semitic incidents in Australia increased by more than a third last year,” he said. “We have seen a number of public controversies that often get lost in that hazy area between anti-Semitism and sharp political criticism of Israel.” Kenny said earlier in September that an Israel-based ABC producer has deleted his Twitter account after being asked about “anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian posts”.
