Weimar (dpa/th) - This year's "Yiddish Summer Weimar" festival is searching for traces of connections between Yiddish, Greek and Turkish music and culture. From July 14 to August 20, around 100 international artists are expected to attend concerts, spontaneous performances, courses and seminars, as the organizers announced on Friday. The 95 announced events do not only focus on the Festival Center Weimar. Performances in Erfurt, Eisenach, Apolda, Altenburg, Leipzig, Niederzimmern, Tiefurt, Holzdorf, Kapellendorf and Gera are also planned. The festival also sets political accents.
