You can still find plenty of children’s and young-adult books focused on the Holocaust and holidays; those topics matter, and they won’t fade away anytime soon. But the knowledge, artistry, warmth and diversity to be seen throughout the Jewish kidlit community is one of the most encouraging Jewishly oriented developments in publishing.
