Slamming the Centre for bulldozing the federal structure of the country, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Monday that the Central agencies should be given independent charge. “The central agencies should be made independent, so that they can function impartially. Only the salary should be given either from the state or central government exchequer. Only then the central agencies can work independently and impartially. Forcefully the central agencies are being used for political purpose.
