(May 9, 2022 / JNS) Jewish Federations of North America have raised three times the amount of its initial goal for its Ukraine emergency campaign, which launched on Feb. 24, the day Russia attacked the country. Funds have been allocated to more than 46 NGOs that are operating on the ground in Ukraine and in neighboring countries, including Jewish Federation core partner agencies, the Jewish Agency for Israel, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and World ORT.
