Hague: The International Court of Justice said on Friday that Germany withdrew its case against Italy, which Berlin wrongfully continued to claim for World War II compensation. Germany decided to withdraw the case “after recent judicial developments in Italy” and following exchanges between the two countries, the ICJ, the UN’s highest judicial body, said in a statement.
