"Bainance" (a combination of the words bitcoin and finance), the largest Chinese crypto company in the world, got involved in a virtual antisemitic incident and all because of emoji. On Wednesday, the company launched an emoji designed for the company's tags by Twitter users, (known as hashflag). The problem was in choosing the emoji logo that unequivocally reminded me of the Nazi swastika emblem, which of course almost immediately drew a host of reactions on the net, some cynical and some angry.
