The leader of the far-right Proud Boys extremist group has been arrested on a conspiracy charge for his suspected role in a co-ordinated attack on the US Capitol to stop Congress from certifying Joe Biden’s 2020 electoral victory. Proud Boys former chairman Henry “Enrique” Tarrio was not there when the riot erupted on January 6 2021.
