After his father’s death in 2019, Craig Lambert from Barry had to clean up his dad’s loft and discovered Nazi propaganda posters. Sergeant Major Colin Lambert of the Royal Welch Fusiliers was assigned to guard Hitler’s deputy, Rudolf Hess, during his jail term at Berlin’s Spandau Prison between 1951 and 1955. They date from 1942 and feature images defending the London Blitz as well as moments glorifying the quantity of Allied commerce sunk by the German U-boat warfare.
