SCHENECTADY – Congregation Gates of Heaven will host a “virtual” class at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, entitled, “Exploring the Star Trek Traditions—Boldly and Jewishly.” Themes of heroism, optimism, equality, and humanity as they appear in the Star Trek franchise and other sci-fi works like “Dune” and “The Fantastic Four” will be reviewed.
