The “chilling” last possessions of three Holocaust victims have been unearthed in the ruins of Sobibor extermination camp. Three pendants have been discovered which bear depictions of Moses and the Tablets of the Law opposite the Hebrew prayer Shema Yisrael, meaning “Hear, O Israel”. One originated in Lviv, Ukraine, another in Poland, and another in Czechoslovakia, but all three are thought to have belonged to Jews murdered at the Nazi death camp.
