The Municipal Health Department, with the support of the Zoonosis Control Center (CCZ), continues to collect samples in homes to obtain the result of the first larval density assessment (ADL) of the year. This week, CCZ’s dengue control agents are walking the streets of the Rio do Ouro neighborhood, central region. In all, 1,796 properties have already been visited. According to the CCZ, a preliminary result showed that samples collected in 34 properties were positive for Aedes aegypti.
