Holocaust Remembrance Day, the January 27 commemoration dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust, will be marked by two concerts at the Athenaeum in Bucharest. Both concerts are scheduled for January 27 and 28. The George Enescu Philharmonic, conducted by Israeli conductor and composer Yoav Talmi, will perform Talmi’s Dachau Reflections, an elegy for strings, timpani and accordion.
