Washington: The United States Supreme Court on Tuesday weighed the fate of a Camille Pissarro painting looted by the Nazis in 1939 and currently on display in a gallery in Spain. The 1897 painting, “Rue Saint-Honoré in the Afternoon. Rain Effect”, like some other works by the French Impressionist, was at the heart of a long legal battle with international ramifications.
