Share A New Yorker angry about Donald Trump’s threat to democracy was charged on Monday for threatening to kill the former US president he once referred to as Hitler. Prosecutors said Defendant Thomas Welnicki, 72, of Rockaway Beach threatened to do “everything in my power” to ensure Trump’s death, and once asked about intelligence protection for former presidents and their children.
