A Jewish school in Hollywood is helping families who otherwise couldn’t afford to send their children to one by offering them scholarships.The Jewish Academy, located at 5100 Sheridan St. in Hollywood and spanning from early childhood to ninth grade, supports families in applying for a number of Jewish community and non-profit/government scholarships.“Not all schools will offer the same scholarships we do,” said Louise Uzan, school administrator for The Jewish Academy. “We make it affordable, and we give the students enough tutoring assistance during the school day for them to want to be able to come into our school.”Uzan noted there...
