The University of Toronto’s Scarborough Campus Student Union (SCSU) has voted to expand its support for the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement against Israel to curtail activities and services which “normalize Israeli apartheid,” including providers of kosher food. The BDS motion, moved by union president Sarah Abdillahi and its vice president of equity, Isaiah Murray, passed at the SCSU’s annual general meeting on Nov. 24.
