The legal battle over the future and the legal protection of Eitan Biran, the six-year-old boy who survived the tragedy of the Mottarone cable car, does not seem over. The family of Eitan’s mother appealed against the decision of the Tel Aviv court which had established her return to Italy with her Italian aunt. This was reported by the Israeli broadcaster Canale 2. After losing his parents, one-year-old brother and great-grandparents in the accident last May, Eitan was kidnapped and taken to Israel by his maternal grandfather, Shmuel Peleg, last September.
