Today I launch my “Save Gail’s” campaign — not that the bakery chain won’t continue to pop up everywhere, but one must have a punchy slogan. Perhaps history will have the final say, and this will become known as “The Battle of Junction Road”, famed, perhaps, for achieving nothing while stirring up pointless hate.
