Police are investigating an alleged antisemitic assault at a scouts event in Victoria's east on Saturday night. Teenager Joshua Levy said he was at a Scouts Victoria event at Lardner Park in Gippsland when he was verbally abused and later assaulted by another young male. Mr Levy said he was wearing a kippah and had draped an Israeli flag around himself when he was approached by the male who was not known to him.
