The Issue: The NYC Department of Health’s “Global Oppression and Public Health Working Group.” I thought the Department of Health’s mission was the health and safety of New Yorkers (“Healthy dose of hate,” Feb. 5). Since when did foreign policy issues, such as the war in Gaza, become a concern? Would it be proper for the department to have a study group showing how MAGA has increased the health outcomes of New Yorkers? Of course not.
