A symbol of hate mars my memories of innocence East Meadow, L.I.: I was watching the news and there was a report concerning swastikas drawn with paint on the slides, playground equipment and handball court at Gravesend Park at 56th St. and 18th Ave. in Borough Park, Brooklyn.
