The commission was created by the Legislature and signed into law by Governor Maura Healey in 2024 with a charge to adapt the US National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism, which I was proud to work on while serving in the Biden administration. Public meetings featured testimony from more than 200 individuals, including community leaders, educators, law enforcement officials, and students. The Anti-Defamation League was proud to serve on the commission and provide expert testimony. The commission’s report is unflinching in its findings.
