By any reckoning, Old Compton Street in Soho - the main artery of London's gay quarter - is no stranger to attention-grabbing sights. But scores of black-uniformed religious activists marching in military formation amid rainbow-draped shopfronts was something to behold. Wearing Oswald Mosley-esque tracksuits with gold logos, around 100 members of The King's Army blocked traffic as they bellowed the slogan 'Jesus Saves!' at the top of their voices.
