A vote to rename a Dublin park honouring an Israeli president to the “Free Palestine Park” is expected to be shelved after an international backlash. Herzog Park in Rathgar was named in 1995 after Chaim Herzog, the Belfast-born, Dublin-raised sixth president of Israel. His son Isaac is the current president.
