A Portland man is accused of making threats to federal officers online and outside Portland’s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building, where he’s maintained a regular presence. John Paul Cupp, 45, made his first appearance in federal court Monday afternoon in Portland on a single count of making threats against federal law enforcement. Cupp also posted hate-filled videos on TikTok calling for the eradication of the Jewish people and stating his denial of the Holocaust, according to a federal affidavit.
